Welcome to TERPNET 2027

We are delighted to welcome the international isoprenoid community to Amsterdam for TERPNET 2027, the 17th International Meeting on the Biosynthesis, Function and Synthetic Biology of Isoprenoids.

The meeting will take place from 26 to 30 July 2027 at the University of Amsterdam’s Roeterseiland Campus, in the heart of Amsterdam.

TERPNET brings together researchers, students and industry partners working in terpene, terpenoid and isoprenoid science.  The meeting offers a forum for sharing new discoveries, discussing emerging ideas and technologies, and developing collaborations across disciplines, organisms and career stages.

Scientific focus and topic areas include:

·        isoprenoid biosynthesis

·        biological functions

·        transport and regulation

·        chemical diversity

·        metabolic engineering and biotechnology

·        computational- and synthetic biology.

Amsterdam offers an inspiring setting for these exchanges: an internationally connected city with a rich scientific community, vibrant cultural life and easy access for participants from around the world. The university “Roeterseiland Campus” is centrally located and within easy reach of Amsterdam’s historic centre, hotels, museums, canals and lively neighbourhoods.
